Toshiba is looking for a Field Sales Engineer with great technical interest who will welcome the challenge of contributing to our successful offer towards our distributors and customers. You will be an important part of a team with high commitment.

Responsibilities
As Field Sales Engineer, you will work independently with sales of electronic components, to our distribution partners as well as dedicated focus customers in northern Europe primarily covering Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Norway. You are responsible for the entire sales and marketing process, for the management of the existing business as well as the identification of new business opportunities in your region. By investigating and understanding the internal business processes of the existing distribution channels and customers, you will establish a strong and trustworthy relationship to various parties, from purchasing, marketing, and development departments to technical decision makers. 

You will be located in our Stockholm office and you are going to have colleagues in Sweden as well as Germany and Japan. Your manager, who is based in Germany, will support you to achieve your goals.

Your profile
To succeed in the role as Field Sales Engineer we believe that you have a strong customer focus, with the ambition to always strive to build long-term business relations. To succeed in this position, you ensure solutions that are in line with the distribution partners and customer's needs and follow up on this continuously. 

You have a business-oriented mindset with an understanding of the overall perspective when it comes to the organization, as well as the market and competitors. You can focus on financial results as well as building good relationships to distribution partners and customers.

In addition to your personal skills, we also see that you have the following:

  • Experience from sales of technical components/solution
  • Ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with distribution network and related focus customers
  • Technical competence with an understanding of technical products and solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Swedish and English
  • Experience from CRM systems
  • It is advantageous if you have knowledge of semiconductors and industrial or automotive applications
