We are looking for a Technical Service Manager LPB to Billerud Gävle!


We are looking for an analytical and communicative colleague to our Technical Service Team in Business segment Liquid Packaging Board (LPB) Commercial. We develop and sell paperboard made of fresh fibers in processes with high sustainability ranking. Our customers have high demands on our product when it comes to efficiency, attractiveness, and functional performance. As Technical Service Manager, you will work closely together with colleagues and have a key role within the business area, making sure that our customers get the desired quality and service they request.


We offer an extrovert and varying job in an international environment with possibility to get important responsibilities. You will be placed in a team with 11 members and report to the Technical Service Director LPB. The job is located at our mill in Gävle. Traveling is a part of the job, ca 50 working days per year.

Your main tasks will be: 

  • Responsible for developing our technical customer contacts, initiate joint projects and drive problem solving activities together with our customers
  • Be the link between marketing, production and development where you have a leading role, developing our products, services and application knowledge
  • Provide feedback from the market to the production organization, including supporting, motivating, and training production staff and other Billerud employees
  • Handle and solve customer issues and problems
  • You will be technically responsible towards Billerud's biggest customers, giving advice, handling claims and helping them to use our products in the best possible way

To succeed in this position, we believe you have:

  • At least five years of working experience of paper- or paperboard production and/or paperboard conversion
  • An academic degree in engineering or similar competence
  • Fluent in English and good knowledge in Swedish, reading, writing, and talking
