Solutions Engineer

WORK DESCRIPTION 

As we continue to expand, we are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and technically skilled Solutions Engineer to join our team in Maarssen, Netherlands.

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our clients, understand and analyze their challenges and provide tailored, technology-driven solutions that address their needs.

Your work will primarily involve our V-smart, V-insight, V-eyeQ, and Iguana products, ensuring successful software implementation through both independent and collaborative efforts.

You will report directly to Operations team lead – Axiell PL&E (Benelux)

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Analyze and Advise: Understand and interpret customer business requirements to design and recommend effective solutions using our library software products.

• Project Leadership: Manage the full project lifecycle, from initial consultation through to implementation, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.

• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions that meet specific customer needs.

• Training and Support: Provide training and ongoing support to customers, ensuring they maximize the value of our products.

ABOUT YOU 

We are seeking an individual who is passionate about technology and enjoys solving complex problems. You should have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both internal teams and external clients to deliver exceptional solutions.

Essential Skills:

• Organized, positive and excellent communications skills in Dutch and English both in written and oral.

• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer success.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross- functional teams.

• Strong customer service, support, training, and project management capabilities.

• Ability to analyze complex problems in multifaceted environments.

• Proficiency in juggling technical, management, and communication tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with V-smart, V-insight, V-eyeQ, and Iguana software, with the capability to support additional systems.

• Experience in library science, information management, or related fields.

• Solid understanding of, or experience with, library operations and workflows is a strong merit.
