Application specialist - Moulded fibre segment team

At BIM, we think differently. To become even better, we dare to try new ways and innovative solutions in close collaboration with our customers. Are you a problem solver and like to work hands on at customer sites but also good at collecting data, analysing and finding trends. Do you enjoy travelling and visit new places, then BIM and our customers are waiting for you.

The manufacture of moulded fibre products is an area that is expected to grow significantly in the coming years. The driving force for this is the shift in plastic packaging toward fibre based packaging. Additionally, existing and coming bans on PFAS-based chemistries paves the way for PFAS-free solutions for creating oil and grease resistance, such as our wet end technology BIM Oilguard.

To strengthen our moulded fibre segment team we are looking for an application specialist in the area of moulded fibre. We are looking for a person who is solution-oriented and passionate about working practically with trialing new chemicals and concepts at customer sites. You should have a structured, analytical and methodical way of working. You enjoy providing support and help based on your expertise, to support the company's business development and retain satisfied customers. We like to see a person with a positive attitude who usually see opportunities instead of problems.

You should have a background and experience in paper chemistry (sizing, retention and dewatering chemistry) and/or experience in chemical application in moulded fibre production. Excellent communication skills, both in speech and writing, in English and a track record of excellent report writing.

The main work tasks will be application specialist/expert within the area of moulded fibre. The position includes mainly planning and executing trials of chemical products/concepts at moulded fibre customers in North America and Europe, and partly application development and testing in our RnD facility in Stenkullen, Sweden. The tasks require close contact and good cooperation with our sales organisation, product developers and laboratory engineers but also the ability to keep good relationship with our customers.

You will be part of our market segment team for moulded fibre and support the work of launching new functional and sustainable product concepts but also support our sales organisation with competence and expertise at customer trials of already established chemical products/concepts. A big part of your work will be to plan, execute and follow up trials at customers.

Does it sound interesting and do you have the right profile? Then we look forward to hearing from you! Since this role will include visiting customers mainly in North America and Europe and the ability to work remote, we encourage applicants located in Sweden, Europe and North America. Do not wait to apply as interviews take place continuously, even during the summer. We want your application no later than August 18.
