As a Senior Key Account Manager…

at Royal Canin, you will be at the forefront of our mission to develop and nurture win-win relationships with our key accounts. You will take ownership of the category growth agenda, ensuring the premium representation of the Royal Canin brand. Your strategic thinking and customer-centric approach will help us deliver on our growth and profitability targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer & Channel Leadership: Lead and manage a customer portfolio of a few selected PSR customers across the Nordics, developing and executing activity and promotion plans in line with Royal Canin's brand, category, and channel strategies. Your customer portfolio will be centered around high-growth customers with a significant eCommerce presence.

  • Account Development: Create and implement comprehensive customer account plans and joint business plans to accelerate category growth.

  • Strategic Negotiations: Lead customer negotiations within the Royal Canin commercial framework, focusing on building strong, long-term partnerships.

  • Customer Engagement: Drive the Customer Engagement agenda with a mindset focused on Customer Centricity to win the customer’s ‘Heart & Mind’. Develop constructive relationships at several levels of customer organizations, including senior leaders.

  • Category Expertise & Leadership: Deploy Royal Canin’s category vision and lead related projects, co-owning signature programs such as Perfect Store and Perfect Digital Store within your scope of responsibility.

  • Team Collaboration and Development: Foster team engagement, contribute to collective growth by sharing best practices, and manage a broad network of cross-functional stakeholders with transparency and integrity.

 To be able to succeed in the role you need…

  • A university degree or equivalent in a relevant field.

  • Several years of customer-facing experience with P&L responsibility.

  • Proven experience handling customers that have a significant presence in the eCommerce channel.

  • Fluency in English and a respective Nordic language is required.

  • A track record of successfully driving category growth and strategic initiatives.
