As a contractor, you will be part of a critical phase in our clients development. The Uppsala site is currently implementing a new ERP system while simultaneously progressing on several key projects, including new product introductions and establishing manufacturing operations abroad.

Team Overview

You will join the manufacturing engineering team on-site, which is part of the Supply Chain department. This team supports production and handles quality calibration and supply chain projects. Currently, there are 11 engineers in the team, possessing a mix of knowledge and experience levels. It is a small team with a wide range of responsibilities. We seek a contractor with a change agent mindset, capable of handling multiple tasks flexibly. You will need to plan, execute, and present solutions and concepts to others, both in Swedish and English. Your role will be split, with 50% of your time dedicated to projects and 50% to production support. We are looking for someone at an intermediate level who demonstrates self-leadership and ownership of their tasks.

You have a background in manufacturing and use proven methods to progress with your tasks.

As a contractor, you will work on:

Creating new structures for an EDHR in the upcoming ERP system.
Supporting production increases with improvements in Uppsala and China manufacturing.
Investigating non-conformances within manufacturing according to QMS procedures.
Implementing changes in manufacturing according to QMS procedures.

Requirements
- B.Sc Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or similar education
- 5 years of experience in a similar technical industry
- Experience, Skills, and Industry Knowledge
- Background in a technical industry
- Good understanding of quality systems and changes within the medical sector
- Good knowledge of production systems and LEAN
- Good knowledge of measurement procedures
- Certifications: ISO9001, ISO13485
