WORK DESCRIPTION

As a Cyber security Architect you will play a key role in designing, developing and implementing secure architectures to safeguard Axiell’s IT Infrastructure. You will work closely with cross functional teams and management to ensure security is embedded in all aspects of our systems, networks and operations aligned to our security strategies and organizational goals.

You will be responsible for evaluating current security measures and identifying vulnerabilities and proposing advanced security solutions to address risks in a proactive manner.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Develop and manage Cyber Incident Management Processes.

  • Cyber Security solution architecture and roadmap creation.

  • Technical ownership of the security infrastructure and platform services.

  • Owner of Cyber Security requirements on all owned and delivered IT and R&D solutions with full operational approval authority.

  • Operational ownership of contract and collaboration with external SOC.

  • System/service configuration, modifications, and management.

  • Legal and contractual requirement management in collaboration with Sales and Operations representatives.

  • Represent Axiell in contractual and legal discussions as Cyber Security technical and legal expert.

  • You will report directly to our CIO.

You thrive when solving complex security challenges and are committed to staying ahead of emerging threats and vulnerabilities.

  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to work effectively with development teams, management, and stakeholders.

  • Problem-solving & Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills to identify security risks, assess vulnerabilities, and develop effective solutions.

  • Leadership & Influence: Ability to guide and influence others on security best practices, champion a strong security culture, and build consensus.

  • Adaptability & Continuous Learning: The cybersecurity landscape is constantly evolving, so the architect must be able to adapt to new threats and technologies.

  • Project Management & Organization: Ability to manage multiple security projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

  • Business Acumen: Understanding of business objectives and how security initiatives can support them.

Requirements

  • You bring at least 10 years of documented experience within Information Security.

  • Deep knowledge and 5+ years of documented experience in several of Microsoft Security solutions (M365 Defender, Defender for Cloud, Identify Protection, Sentinel, Purview etc.)

  • University degree in Informatics or equivalent

  • 3+ years documented experience of working with Cyber Security forensics

  • Deep knowledge in security solution architecture with focus on Microsoft cloud services.

  • Deep knowledge in standards and leading methods in risk management, information security and privacy.

  • Deep knowledge in technologies and practices related to securing cloud platforms, cloud services and associated cloud-based resources and infrastructure.

  • Deep knowledge vulnerability analysis and security testing in networks and applications.

  • Deep knowledge and experience of managing ISO27001, NIST, GDPR and NIS requirements.
