We are looking for an eager and enthusiastic Consultant/Solution Expert located at our office in Maarssen, Netherlands.

As a Consultant/Solution Expert, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing customer business requirements and translating them into innovative solutions. You'll primarily focus on projects involving our V-smart, V-insight, V-eyeQ, and Iguana products, working both independently and collaboratively to ensure the successful implementation of software solutions. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire project lifecycle, from understanding customer needs to providing ongoing support.

You will report directly to Operations team lead – Axiell PL&E (Benelux)


  • Analyzing Requirements: Work closely with clients to understand their needs and expectations, defining project objectives to meet their unique challenges.

  • Project Management: Perform tasks independently. Regularly report on project progress, identifying potential risks and opportunities.

  • Technical Expertise: Translate user requirements into technical specifications, prepare recommendations, and propose solutions. Provide specialized knowledge to assist customers post-production.

  • Training and Documentation: Develop and deliver training programs for our solutions. Create training and support materials, participate in solution documentation.

  • Customer Engagement: Act as a bridge between customers and product development, providing valuable feedback to the product manager. Participate in sales-related activities upon request.

  • Continuous Learning: Stay informed about developments in the library profession, standards, and norms, contributing to the company's commitment to innovation.


You are a highly driven, organized, and social person. You are skilled in modern digital communication and a curios mind. You have a confident, positive attitude and excellent problem-solving, organized and service-minded personality.

  • Strong customer service, support, training, project management and quality control skills.

  • Ability to analyze a problem situation in a complex environment

  • Ability to multitask, juggling technical, management and communication tasks

  • Good written and oral communication skills in Dutch and English

  • Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders

  • Understanding of/experience with library work

Good to have:

  • Good knowledge for V-smart and Iguana, able to support other systems
