The Role -

Do you like to solve advanced and complex computer science problems? Do you like to be part of a team that values user success and where you can have intellectually honest discussions?

In the this team, we develop software that plays a critical role in ensuring that Neo4j is released with high standards. We are looking for a skilled software engineer to help us further develop our automated testing software and infrastructure.

In this role, your primary responsibility will be to maintain, develop, and continue to transform our infrastructure software. You will also contribute to the architecture of this platform. This platform enables our engineering teams to create and enhance their workloads to ensure the quality of our graph database technology. 

You will be part of the international team that is based in our engineering headquarters in Malmö, Sweden and will work with other engineers across Europe.

You'll thrive in this role if you have:

  • Developed high-quality, production-level object-oriented software (We use Java) 
  • Cloud computing service experience (We use AWS)
  • Continuous Integration experience (We use TeamCity)
  • A TDD mindset
  • A keen interest in developing clean architecture and improving the quality of your codebase 
  • Great communication skills and an interest in collaborating with other engineers

Nice to have experience with (but not required):

  • Using Neo4j or an understanding of database internals 
  • Developing automated test software solutions
  • Containers (We use Docker and some Kubernetes)

We don’t expect you to have experience across all these areas. We have a mix of different skills in our Malmo based team.
