Senior Test Engineer

The role

As Senior Test Engineer your responsibility is to plan and execute test – and certification projects within mechatronics, system testing, environmental testing, EMC, and Radio. As part of the company’s team in Jönköping you will work together with highly skilled colleagues to create state-of-the-art products for homes, offices, and stores. The work is based on standards and product requirements, and you will perform everything from conceptual testing to verifying system testing. Some of the products in these areas are height adjustable desk solutions, intelligent office solutions whit locks, sensors, and other connected devices.

Main tasks:

·      Plan and execute test – and certification projects within mechatronics, system testing, environmental testing, EMC, and Radio

·      Perform conceptual testing and verifying system testing.

·      Aiding and driving certification projects according to global requirements. 

·      Develop test methods and physical test equipment when required.

Experience and competencies

The ideal candidate for this role must have at least three years of work experience in testing and test management. A bachelor’s degree in electronics/mechanics or equivalent is required. You are comfortable in working with both mechatronic and electrical systems. In addition, the role requires excellent communication skills and fluency in English , both written and oral. As a person you are well organized, take initiative and are self-propelled. You have a good sense of responsibility, and you like to work in a Team. We also believe that you grow in agile and project environments.
