Your mission?  

  • To lead, manage and control all engineering-related activities in the project to deliver on requirements, budget and schedule.
  • To ensure "lessons learned" and best practices are applied on projects and transferred to new projects.
  • Maintain Engineering Interface with customers. 

Key responsibilities? 

  • To lead all aspects of design, implementation, testing and commissioning required to deliver the scope of the engineering project.
  • Establish and maintain interfaces with other engineering departments and with all relevant functions.
  • Continuous optimization of project engineering processes, tools and behaviour by taking the business requirements, customer needs, technical innovations and the new market conditions into account. 
  • Monitor, control and report monthly for all product related financial aspects
  • Ensuring that relevant skills are made available by the engineering function in order to fulfill project requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role 
  • Minimum 1 year of leadership experience 
  • Strong communication and diplomacy skills
  • Good commercial awareness 
  • Strong understanding of concepts and procedures 
  • Sound knowledge in adjoining disciplines
