Asignment
- The engineer secures the quality of the project regarding mechanical aspect
- Review of the checklist before each checkpoint/milestone
- Mechanics related issues during concept work.
- Safety features related to mechanics to ensure functionality and safety.
- Legal inspection is carried out and documented.
- Follow-up of installations.
- Technical issues are harmonized with other engineers within the department.
- Project issues are coordinated with the shop representatives in the project team and the line organization in applicable cases.
- Secure requirements regarding takeover of the mechanical area according to current routine.Secure the mechanical functions as part of the complete project delivery.
- Ensure that requirements regarding documentation for the discipline are included in RFQ.
- Review technical content of the documentation and it meets the agreed level.
- Review documentation.

Qualifications
- Knowledge of CATIA or SolidWorks, CAD competence 2D / 3D
- Team Center
- Applicable  standards (SDB-Standard Data Base)
- Machine directive 2006/42 EG and applicable harmonized SS EN ISO standards within area of expertise
- Basic process final assembly shop knowledge
- Body handling
- Basic ergonomics
- Documentation system knowledge
