Embedded Linux Software Expert

We are looking for an Embedded Linux Software Engineer within our product segment Mirror Eye In this role, you will contribute with your embedded Linux development skills and develop software for new products. Our products within Mirror Eye are true embedded systems for automotive with powerful micro controllers and with a connection to cloud. We work with real-time OS as well as with Linux and other higher-level operating systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Computing Science
  • Expert skills in low-level embedded Linux software development, mainly in C and C++
  • Expert skills in Linux driver development
  • Expert skills in build systems: Git, Yocto, OpenEmbedded, Jira, Jenkins
  • Test and Verification of software
  • Knowledge in structured development of embedded real-time systems, and hardware/software interfacing
  • Good understanding of software and electronic product development
  • Good knowledge in English, both written and spoken
  • Earlier experience from the vehicle industry is meritorious
  • Safety-critical software development is a meritorious
Most of all, we are looking for someone with a strong drive for results and have a good ability to transform requirements to implementation.
