About this opportunity
As a Configuration Manager (CM) at Development Unit Network you're involved in the total product development flow, from defining requirements to release of new products. A CM can be considered as being a "quality guardian" in a development program to make sure that i.e. our products fulfill ISO standards and internal requirements and directives. As CM you work closely with project managers, system engineers and designers. Our CM team is working with both HW- and SW- development and both cloud native and embedded products.

Right now, we're seeking for a new colleague to our software release team with interest for and understanding in software development to be part of our exciting journey ahead.

What you will do
As Configuration Manager you take lead for the product and document planning focusing on software, as well as working strategic with process flow and optimization. You will also drive and take ownership for product structure issues, along with actively working with continuous improvement. In addition, you will:
  • Work in an international team of skilled engineers
  • Have the opportunity to gain expertise and knowledge, along with building a network all across Ericsson
  • Work in a dynamic department where there will be opportunities for learning, impacting the way of working, and much more
You will bring
Your personal qualities are important for us, and we believe you are curious, innovative and collaborative. As part of NextGen we are seeking for people who wish to explore their career with us and have less than 3 years of relevant experience.
In addition, we believe you have/are:

  • BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
  • Well organized, structured and a team-player that enjoys finding innovative ways to work
  • Strong service management awareness and strives for efficiency, effectiveness and quality
  • Ability to set the right priorities and eliminate roadblocks
  • Self-motivated, with the drive to solve problems and expand your knowledge and network
  • Someone who loves being challenged by an ever-changing and innovative environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
