As a Chemical Compliance Specialist you will work in a Chemical team within our global business line Intertek Assuris. This team are experts on regulatory support and help customers in Sweden and the rest of the world to ensure their products are produced efficiently and in compliance to chemical regulatory standards.

About the role

In this role you will be supporting multiple clients (Swedish and international) with regulatory and chemical support on articles. Mostly on European regulations like REACH, RoHS and WFD (SCIP reporting), but also on other global legislations. You will support clients to identify which regulations to apply, perform GAP-analysis towards REACH, RoHS and WFD, do SCIP reporting, perform RoHS risk assessments, REACH and RoHS compliance reviews etc.

In addition, you will also get the opportunity to hold training sessions within the chemical field.

Who are you?

  • You have a degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, environmental engineering or equivalent
  • Knowledge about Chemical Regulations for Articles (ex: REACH, RoHS, SCIP etc.)
  • You are fluent in Swedish and English written and spoken, other languages are a plus
  • You are service minded, flexible and communicative

We believe you have some experience from working in the field of restricted substances and especially REACH and RoHS. Working in a team is something you enjoy but you can also handle your own projects. You enjoy communicating with and help clients and you are a business minded person. 

The role is based in Sweden, ideally Stockholm or around but home office is possible.
