Group Tax is part of Skanska’s Group Function Finance Operations. The Tax Manager works for both the Skanska Group and the parent company. This includes tax compliance, tax planning and tax strategy. The Tax Manager will work in close cooperation with Head of Group Tax and another Tax Manager, but also involves a lot of cross-functional collaboration. The work will be both domestic and international in its character and the position involves the following responsibilities:
- Review quarterly tax consolidation, summarizing tax position of the Skanska Group, including analysis of group effective tax rate and taxes in balance sheet, in close relationship with Finance and Accounting functions at HQ and BUs.
- Complete and/or support tax calculations and preparation of corporate income tax returns for Skanska AB and other central entities.
- Identify, analyze and communicate the impact of tax law changes, primarily internationally but also support nationally
- Providing training and ad hoc tax advice and support to Business Units
- Implement and manage processes required for companies to be aligned with new legislation such as Pillar II.
- Drive group-wide tax projects, such as implementation of Tax Policy, new routines for complying with EU directives and/or domestic legislation and improvement of quarterly reporting.
- Being responsible for parent company transfer pricing documentation including Group Master File.
- Manage tax audits and maintain relationship with the Swedish Tax Authority
- Coordinate international tax initiatives across the group such as the Skanska Tax Summit and quarterly Digital Tax Meetings.
You will report to the Head of Group Tax.
Through your role, you will have the possibility to learn different parts of Skanska through structured development activities such as short term secondment to Business Units’ Tax or Finance Departments and visits to construction project sites.

Qualifications
- Degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Adminstration and/or Law
- At least 5 years of experience from working with corporate taxes in-house, consulting firm or the Tax Authority
- General knowledge of Swedish corporate tax
- Basic understanding of Swedish GAAP and IFRS is a plus
- Fluent in Swedish and English, written and orally
- Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, PPT, Excel)
